Quiénes somos

La Fundación Walter Benjamin para la Investigación Social es una organización sin ánimo de lucro fundada en Colombia en mayo de 2009. Guiada por principios de justicia social y bienestar colectivo, la Fundación promueve la investigación social crítica, la defensa de los derechos colectivos y el fortalecimiento de los procesos comunitarios autónomos en América Latina.

Su misión es contribuir a la construcción de la paz con justicia social mediante la producción de conocimiento crítico, el debate público y el trabajo intelectual colaborativo, orientado a la transformación social y al compromiso con los pueblos de la región.

About us

The Walter Benjamin Foundation for Social Research is a non-profit organization founded in Colombia in May 2009. Guided by principles of social justice and collective well-being, the Foundation promotes critical social research, the defense of collective rights, and the strengthening of autonomous community processes throughout Latin America.

Its mission is to contribute to peace with social justice through the production of critical knowledge, public debate, and collaborative intellectual work committed to social transformation.

Die Walter-Benjamin-Stiftung für Sozialforschung ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die im Mai 2009 in Kolumbien gegründet wurde. Geleitet von den Prinzipien der sozialen Gerechtigkeit und des kollektiven Wohlergehens fördert die Stiftung kritische Sozialforschung, die Verteidigung kollektiver Rechte sowie die Stärkung autonomer Gemeinschaftsprozesse in Lateinamerika.

Ihre Mission besteht darin, zum Aufbau von Frieden mit sozialer Gerechtigkeit beizutragen – durch die Produktion kritischen Wissens, öffentliche Debatten und kollaborative intellektuelle Arbeit im Dienst gesellschaftlicher Transformation.
